Feature film, dramatic TV series, documentaries, reality television, shorts, music videos and commercials…all regular creative outlets for Jon and Andy Erwin. The writer/director duo from Birmingham, Alabama are young and unorthodox artists focused on innovative ways to deliver maximum impact. From their multi-award winning documentaries, The Cross and the Towers and The Mysterious Islands to the dramatic reality TV series' Life After and Real Strength, through their first feature film October Baby, the brothers Erwin are making bigger and bigger waves.
Jon and Andy began their career as teenage camera operators for ESPN. Local games at the University of Alabama soon became a full time career as sports cameramen—taking them from ESPN College Football Primetime to FOX NFL, the XGames and the Superbowl.
In 2005, the young team ventured into music videos, finding success directing music videos, producing concerts and television programs for platinum artists like Amy Grant, Michael W. Smith, Switchfoot, Skillet and American Idol's Ruben Studdard among many others. They have received eight nominations and back to back wins for Music Video Of The Year at the GMA Dove Awards. They are now veterans of nearly a hundred music videos and concerts.
